These days we are all supposed to do our bit to help the environment and even though most of us are willing to do this, we are given little incentive or help from the Government to do so. If you live in the UK you will know what I’m talking about.

There may be new schemes with various different colour coded boxes within which to deposit certain kinds of waste, but for some people there is still confusion. For a start, we are supposed to take out all the windows from the envelopes we receive. With the amount of junk mail arriving each week, this is hardly feasible – it would take hours for the average household to complete all these recycling tasks.

With the imminent arrival of the food waste recycling, all I can foresee is more problems until we are assured the councils are actually working with us on this and not just jobsworth types trying to catch us out.
