Do you fancy a quick trip into outer space? Well it would actually be suborbital space, which it technically not outer space itself, but it is the proposed height at which scientists and researchers are planning to fly commercial flights around the globe.
You and the spacecraft would experience microgravity whilst in suborbital space, making it quicker and what should be cheaper, to fly to holiday destinations.
Richard Branson, founder of the mega brand Virgin, has plans underway to conquer this realm and has built what could be the first commercial spacecraft which will take the public in to space on route to their destination.
The first members of the public to fly in the craft called SpaceShip 2 as part of the Virgin Galactic programme will of course have to be pretty darn rich to afford the ticket fare. The first entry level for the cheap seats on SpaceShip 2 start at $200,000 dollars, which is approximately £122,000 English pounds. I hope there is a complimentary in-flight meal thrown in with that!
